FAQ's

Here you can find answers to our most frequently asked questions

Do you have a shop I can visit?

We have a studio in Brighton and this is not open to the public, most of our dresses are purchased online, then made in our studios and shipped to customers.

We understand that buying your wedding dress online can be nerve-wracking, but I can assure you, my brides have been very happy with the service that we offer, have a look at our Facebook reviews for reassurance.
Designer Louise is also happy to talk over the phone with customers and send out samples to help you chose the dress that is right for you.

In 2023 we will be having some open days by appointment, please keep an eye on our Instagram for these announcements.

If you are commissioning us for a bespoke dress, private appointments are part of this service.

How long will my dress take?

Wedding dresses dresses take 3-4 months. Bridesmaids dresses 3-4 weeks.

If you have commissioned a bespoke design then the timescale is 3-6 months, but more detail will be communicated directly with you.

If you need a dress sooner than this, during less busy periods we may be able to provide an express service, depending on the design, Louise has been known to create some epic dresses in less than a week!

I live abroad, can I still get an Oh My Honey dress?

Absolutely! We have had many brides from overseas, especially USA, Australia and New Zealand, and we are more than happy to send out fabric samples and have phone calls in a time zone that works for both of us to make sure you feel confident shopping from far away.

What sizes do you do?

We do ALL sizes! Not just for our Bespoke pieces, but even for our bridesmaids and standard wedding dresses, we can make to the measurements of the individual. For bridesmaids dresses this is an additional £15, and for the wedding dresses it is priced per dress.

Do you have an alterations service?

Oh My Honey dresses are usually a very good fit, with few brides needing alterations, however, every body is different, as you will know if you have visited your usual bridal boutiques, almost all wedding dresses are sent off for alterations. If your dress needs alterations, we suggest you take it to an experienced tailor or seamstress local to you, where you can go in yourself and have the dress changed exactly to your shape.

Do you accept returns?

All of our wedding dresses are made to order, and so we do not accept returns, however, we will work closely alongside you to make sure that you chose the right dress for you.
Some of our ready to wear pieces are eligible for return, please see our returns page for more details.
